First off, it's very simple to get this up and running. I put the CD in the drive, made sure it booted to the CD.... After a few mins of bootup I chose to install to the 16GB SD Card that I had previously inserted. After answering some of the standard questions... the installation finished in about 10 mins.

Now booting the system was the problem. I rebooted, made sure to tell the laptop to boot to the SD card and all is did was sit at a GRUB boot screen. Acting as if there were no grub config at all. From here i rebooted the laptop using the Ubuntu install CD and told it to let me try it out. I then used apt-get to install the boot-repair utility. Doing this allowed me to explicitly tell the system to install grub at mmcblk0. Doing this FINALLY allowed the system to boot correctly. Which has allowed me to use Firefox on my new Ubuntu system to actually post this to the website.

I'll post some pictures soon of the laptop itself and some info on how it setup... For now I hope this post atleast helps other's get they're systems on SD Cards - They're not fast but they're better than screwing with the partitions that already exist on the systems.
